ABOUT ME

My name is RAVI and I live in Chennai, India.

This website is exclusively devoted to the world of Spirituality. You can find in this site, discussions, interpretations and analysis of some of the Great Indian Scriptures. The list of Scriptures can be found under ARTICLES. This site also deals with Advaita philosophy (non-dualism) and basics of Trika philosophy. It is sincerely believed that contents of this site will provide the visitors the much needed impetus, so as to enable them to elevate to higher realms of spiritual world.

I was initiated into Śakti worship by my Guru in the year 2003. I have completed several thousand recitations of Mahā Ṣoḍaśī mantra and completed the prescribed puraścaraṇa. It was my Guru, who made me to pursue the ritualistic path and later made me to follow the path of Self-realization. He continuously explained to me, the intricacies of Upaniṣads and gave me spiritual teachings, for an extensive period of six months. He passed away in the year 2007 at the age of 90 plus. He always held me very close to his heart. I owe my allegiance to him, as I was extremely blessed in having a Guru of his stature.

MY GURUJI

After his passing away, I was cherishing his memories. But there was an urge within me to move further in spiritual path. I was searching for another Guru to take me forward. I was with a few gurus for various period of time after 2007. Since I was not getting the desired satisfaction, I moved away from all of them. I studied extensively and began this site in the year 2008 and started writing seriously from the year 2009. When I was in confusion to interpret a particular word, or a verse, Divine Mother always helped and guided me in interpretation.

As a part of service to spiritual aspirants, I occasionally initiate people into the right mantra that is suitable for them. After initiation I consistently follow up with them till they attain the desired level. Most of the initiations are done through electronic media such as Skype and phones....Read More

नमस्ते जी: Hope you are doing well. I started reading your and teams' enlightening articles and replies to queries. Sri. Santosh Kumar will be talking to me on VOIP Tuesday night as you had redirected being unable to initiate new spiritual aspirants. By the way I am told by astrologers to propitiate presiding deities/malefic Astro-energies prevalent in my कुण्डली including रहु & केतु (the energy behind the pandemic)! How correctly said by our sages that these energies have only अर्धकायं as we know Corona Virus (poison) is not a complete organism and need to steal their missing parts from the cells of other living beings to propagate! केतु is also known to literally suffocate people denying all that are precious in life (freedom, health, comfort, social life/support etc). Also I read your article and comments on the pandemic. With prayers, नमस्ते जी, हरि: ॐ श्री गुरुभ्यो नाम: हरि: ॐ

ABOUT KRISHNA REDDY

Tuesday, July 25, 2023

My interests in occult started in high school over fear of death. Soon I pursued Astrology, Palmistry by reading various books. I was introduced to Kuṇḍalini meditation during my undergrad and pursued it actively for a few years before getting sucked into the rigors of mundane life. Many years later faced with financial hardship, I undertook mantra japa as a means of alleviating my problems. Facing no luck, I studied Mantra Mahodadhi and took up the sādhana of Śrī Ucchiṣṭa Gaṇapati. After a near drowning incident and a miraculous save by the grace of Śrī Ucchiṣṭa Gaṇapati, I searched more intensely to find a guru and was finally accepted by Shri Bharat Eshwar Jha of Vamtantra.com, who introduced me into Śrī Mātaṅgī and Śrī Bagalāmukhī sādhanas. A year later I wrote to Shri Sivapremananda ji of srividyasadhana.com and he initiated me into the seven step Śrīvidya sādhana. I was later guided further to the Śrī Vāñcākalpalatā Gaṇapati sādhana and upon my request, to the 37 lettered Śrī Ucchiṣṭa Gaṇapati mantra. After a few months of these sādhanas, I discovered Manblunder.com and the writings of Shri Ravi ji on various topics totally blew me away and engrossed me completely for the months to come. Though hesitant initially, I finally requested Shri Ravi ji for an initiation after explaining my spiritual practices till date and was graced with an initiation into Śrī Mahāṣoḍaśī and Kuṇḍalini meditation. I requested for an initiation into the Krama paddhati of Śrīvidya from Shri Krishna ji of Medhayoga. Over the next few years, I received initiations into Śrī Mahāgaṇapati, Bālā, Pañcadaśī, Saubhāgya Pañcadaśī, Mahāvārāhī, Śyāmalā, Pratyaṅgirā and finally Mahāṣoḍaśī again. I also got initiated into Kriya Yoga by Shri Mukherjee of the Original Kriya Yoga foundation. ...Read More

MANBLUNDER IN THE WORLD OF SPIRITUALITY.

Wednesday, February 17, 2010

We have been discussing about internal search and internal exploration under various articles. Ancient scriptures declare in unambiguous terms that our body is the place of worship like temples, churches or masques. The sanctum sanctorum that is found in the places of worship is within our body. Within that sanctum sanctorum dwells the Brahman or God. There is no difference in interpretation between God and the Brahman. By this we mean God in His purest form without any attributes. He does not have a form and due to our ignorance we give Him forms of our choice. When contemplations of His forms and which is merely a visualisation arising out of one's imaginative capabilities and crosses the admissible levels fanaticism, it leads to hatred and enmity. The eternal scriptures like Bible and Upanishads manifest God in the form of light. That is why they do not differentiate between self and Self. They point out that they are one and the same. Again due to our ignorance we differentiate between the two by using while referring God. This is meaningless when we understand that God resides within our body, in every cell, in every drop of blood and in every piece of excretory matter. If this is not understood in the proper perspective, the omnipresence of God would be lost. ...Read More

THIS IS THE 1000th POSTING OF MANBLUNDER

Wednesday, February 17, 2010

BY HER GRACE this is the 1000th posting of manblunder. Manblunder.com is in existence from November 2008. Many articles have been written about valuable and ancient Indian Scriptures like Lalitā Sahasranāma, Śiva Sūtra-s, Bhagavad Gītā, Tattvabodha, Garuḍa Purāṇa, Mantra matruka pushpamala, etc. with considerable and detailed interpretations. Currently Viṣṇu Sahasranāma, Saundaryalaharī and Vijñāna Bhairava are being discussed. Apart from these Scriptures, substantial material is available about kuṇḍalinī meditation and general meditation. Few of the Sacred Mantras have been discussed in detail. A few of the Upanishads have also been discussed. There will be another series of article on kuṇḍalinī that will intricately discuss about the various aspects of kuṇḍalinī. This will be focussed more towards practice apart from understanding the subtleties of kuṇḍalinī. There is a spiritual novel titled “Guruji in the Horizon” which is under progress now. There are many articles on mind and consciousness, the fundamentals for realising the Self. There are many articles on mind and consciousness, the fundamentals for realising the Self. ...Read More

Let us understand one thing clearly. We have to take care of our elders with great care, compassion and love. At their old age, they need love and affection rather than money. If they are made happy during their life, offering tarpaṇa after their death becomes only secondary. Apart from tarpaṇa, we can make our ancestors happy if we seek their blessings daily.

Will You Come Back Guruji

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

My Guruji was born this day. I was a regular visitor of nearby shakthi temple for years. The presiding deity is Moogambigai. The idol is beautifully sculptured and the priest takes keen interest in making Her look gorgeous and divine. Before my evening walk I make it a point to visit this temple and chat with the priest, a well informed young man. At that time I was desperately looking for a real Guru. One day during my casual chat with the priest, he said that there lives a Guru close by. I am living in this area for decades and this Guru was my neighbour, which I never knew. It was late in the evening when I heard about this Guru and I decided to take a chance to meet him immediately. When I entered his house I was made to wait, as Guru was taking his dinner. I could not control my anxiety. Every minute passed by, looked like an hour. After ten minutes of waiting he appeared. On just seeing him I prayed that he should accept me as his disciple.
