Śrī Bālā Mantra Siddhi Stavaḥ (श्रीबालामन्त्रसिद्धिस्तवः)
Prologue: The devolvement of the manifested super-conscioussness, known as Parabrahman, by its own will, transits from its static (Śiva) to the dynamic (Śakti) state. The Divine Mother Śakti, further devolves by Her own will to manifest the Creation. The very cause of the will (iccha) to Create, is represented by the Divine Mother Śrī Bālā Tripura Sundarī. Śrī Bālā, by Her own will, manifests the triads that we call as Creation, Preservation and Destruction. On a subtle level, triads also encompass the waking state, sleeping and deep sleep states etc. Qualities manifested in the entire Creation, such as the three guṇas – Sattva (gentle), Rajas (passionate) and Tamas (aggressive) also are part of triads. There are many such classifications that constitute the triads and all of which are manifested by Her desire. The very word Tripura, constitutes the triads. Likewise, Her three syllabled mantra constitutes the triads represented as vāgbhāva kūṭa (knowledge), kāmarāja kūṭa (wishes and desires) and śakti kūṭa (transformation and ascension). Another way to perceive, is to associate Śrī Bālā as the cause of Creation represented as an 8 or 9 year old, signifying the nascency of Creation and Her innocence signifying the Sattva guṇa. Her own transformation to Śrī Lalita, is to be perceived as the cause of Sustenance represented as a youthful 15 or 16 year old, signifying vigor, desires, wishes and enjoyment, the very traits of the Rajas guṇa. Her further progress into Ṣoḍaśī or Bhairavī, seen as a 28 year old or even older (Bhairavi), signifying maturity, deeper understanding and reasoning faculties, to help further the cause of Destruction and Transformation signifying the Tamas guṇa. It is to be noted that She alone prevails in whichever form we perceive Her in and is ultimately responsible for our spiritual transformation, evolvement and merger into the super-consciousness, which is none other than Her!
From the Purāṇic standpoint, She is considered to be the daughter of Śrī Lalita Tripura Sundarī and is extolled for Her bravery in the war against Bhaṇḍāsura, by none other than Śrī Rāja Śyāmalā and Śrī Vārāhī.
Śrī Bālā Tripura Sundarī is considered to be a quick siddhi giver or fulfiller of the wishes of Her devotees (sādhakās). Mahidhara of the famed Mantra Mahodadhi, salutes the Divine Mother as the One who makes Her devotees as rich as the celestial treasurer Kubera and also bestows spiritual emancipation (liberation or mokṣa). There is absolutely no need for Her sincere devotees to look any further, for She is the very embodiment of the entire Creation. There is absolutely nothing that She cannot accomplish or provide, to Her devotees!
This hymn is a prayer to the Divine Mother Śrī Bālā Tripura Sundarī, to quickly bestow Her divine grace upon Her sādhakās and help them ascend the triads and finally merge into Her. It is taken from the highly sacred and revered Mahākāla Saṃhitā.

An issue that was troubling me for the last 2 years came to a closure. There was also a very auspicious invitation from a prestigious institution, to apply for a scholarship for my daughter at an esteemed university. Both of these events happened after I had completed about half the translation of this stotram. A huge load and stress simply dropped off by Her divine grace. I have no words to express my gratitude, but felt a strong urge to share my experience here and make a fervent prayer to the Divine Mother to extend Her divine grace to all Her sincere sādhakas.

Dear Sir, thank you so much for translating this wonderful stotra for us. I have a question regarding the first stanza. Does it end with pareśvari or parameśvari? Many thanks once again.

It won't serve any purpose by doing so, as the stotra is meant for those, who are already initiated into Her mantras.

Thank you Jayanth, sir. The video clip is very helpful. After listening to it a few times I was able to chant the stava directly from the text and enjoy tremendous resonance. Is understanding the meaning is required for getting results, sir?
