The elephants, horses and infantry refer to the various material and spiritual obstacles and thoughts that flood us on a constant basis. We are bowing to the Divine Mother Sampatkari, who represents the elephant goad (aṅkuśa) weapon that Śrī Mahāṣoḍaśī Lalita Devi holds in Her hands, to rush and help us overcome the obstacles and gain both material and spiritual wealth very soon.

8. Atha Śrī Sampatkarī Mantraḥ (अथ श्री सम्पत्करी मन्त्रः)

klīm̐ haim̐ h-sauḥ s-hauḥ haim̐ klīm̐

क्लीँ हैँ ह्सौः स्हौः हैँ क्लीँ ॥

Meaning:-  The kāma bīja/seed mantra klīm̐ represents desires and their fulfillment.

The bīja/seed mantra haim̐ combines the seed letter ‘ha’ representing the life sustaining breath prāṇa and the Vāgbhāva bīja/seed mantra aīm̐, representing all knowledge, material and spiritual. Thus the haim̐ bīja/seed mantra is the true purpose of life, knowledge bestowing mantra.

The bīja/seed mantras h-sauḥ and s-hauḥ, are variations of the prasāda-parā and para-prasāda bīja/seed mantra sauḥ representing self-realization and liberation.

Sampuṭīkaraṇa or reversing the mantra is done to eliminate any negativity that may arise from this mantra. It is to be noted that this mantra does not begin with an om̐. Caution is therefore suggested.

This six lettered mantra is a prayer to the Goddess Śrī Sampatkarī, to speedily come to our rescue and remove all hurdles, internal and external, impacting our progress and bless us with abundant material and spiritual wealth.
