Śrī Vidyā Gaṇapati Vāñcha kalpalatā mantra
श्री विद्या गणपति वाञ्छ कल्पलता मन्त्र
This mantra is a combination of mantras of Gaṇapati, Saubhāgya Panchadaśī and Gāyatrī.
Vāñcha means wishing or the one who desires for something and kalpalatā means granting all desires. (Dictionary meaning of kalpalatā – a creeper that grants all desires)
This is the Ganapati Vancha Kalpalatha Mantra:
om śrīṁ hrīṁ klīṁ glauṁ gaṁ
aiṁ ka e ī la hrīṁ
tat saviturvareṇyaṁ
gaṇapataye ।
klīṁ ha sa ka ha la hrīṁ
bhargo devasya dhīmahi
varavarada ।
sauḥ sa ka la hrīṁ
dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt
sarvajanaṁ me vaśamānaya svāhā ॥
There are other variations of this mantra as well, like adding the first verse of Durga sūkta, Bālā mantra, etc.

There is no specification given. In one of the books, I have seen that one should recite 444,444 times of Mahā Gaṇapati. As far as Mahā ṣoḍaśī is concerned, prescribed recitation is 900,000. I have observed generally that one begins to get the benefits of mantras if approximately 15,000 to 25,000 recitations are completed, with utmost sincerity. By the time one nears 50,000 recitations, he surely would have advanced spiritually.

It is only for material benefit. For spiritual benefit there are only a few mantras like, Śiva, Śakti and Viṣṇu mantras. As you know, the ultimate mantra is only OM, provided it is recited in the proper way by aligning with one's breath. There will be no benefit without synchronizing mantras with one's breath. Hamsa mantra(Soham) is based only on this principle.

Following are the two versions of Indrākṣī mantra:
For best results, pour some water in a small vessel that is not made up of iron. Add some condiments such as cardamom, clove, saffron and eatable camphor. You grind these condiments to make soft powder. Add a bit of this powder to the water, stir and keep this vessel before you. Recite any one of the above mantras as many times as possible, visualizing that the energy of the mantra recited by you enters the water. If it is possible to give him this water, give him a small quantity. Do this by affirming that he is being cured from his illness. Otherwise, sprinkle on him. Try this for about a week and watch how he responds. Don’t worry. He will be alright.
Mantra 1:
Om aiṁ hrīṁ śrīṁ indrākṣyai namaḥ |
ॐ ऐं ह्रीं श्रीं इन्द्राक्ष्यै नमः।
Mantra 2:
Om āṁ hrīṁ śrīṁ īṁ indrākṣī aiṁ hrīṁ kroṁ huṁ phaṭ svāhā |
ॐ आं ह्रीं श्रीं ईं इन्द्राक्षी ऐं ह्रीं क्रों हुं फट् स्वाहा।

This mantra has six Rishis, four chandas and four devatas. Dhyana also has five stanzas. I will publish the details shortly.
I publish all the mantra here only after praying to Parāśakti that all those who recite these mantras should derive immense spiritual and material benefits. I am confident that She has blessed all the mantras published here. Hence there is no necessity for you to have someone as your Guru. Practice the mantra and you will surely derive all the benefits.
If you still need a Guru, there can be no better Guru than Dakṣiṇāmūrti, one of the best known forms of Śiva. He is also known as Lokaguru.

Thank you so much for your reply Sir. I will wait for the reply of yours with Vidi of Śrī Vidyā Gaṇapati Vāñcha kalpalatā mantra with Rishi, Nyasa and Dhyana Sholka.
Just wanted to inform you that, I have already been initiated to Maha Gaṇapati, Sri Saubhāgya Pañcadaśī and Gāyatrī maha mantras, all separately. But, this mantra that you have posted is combination of all these three mantras which is what made me amazed, showing the merging of all forms and mool mantras and took me here to your blog to enlighten me the essence of Advaita as Supreme soul is above all forms and limitations.
Your words about jagad guru Sri Medha Dakṣiṇāmūrti is true but in this material world, what I have understood is we need a Guru parampara to practice these moola mantras. So, I asked your permission to accept me to your Guru parampara. Is not that true? So, do you say that assuming Sri Medha Dakṣiṇāmūrti as our Guru who initiated the mantra and practice the mantra with full devotion will bring same effect as we get from a physical guru?

When you are already initiated into Mahā Gaṇapati and Saubhāgya Pañcadaśī, there is no necessity for you to practice one more mantra. If one practices too many mantras, ultimately none of the mantras will effectively work. Your next initiation should be only Mahā ṣoḍaśī. This is the right move forward. If you begin to practice other mantras after getting initiated into Saubhāgya Pañcadaśī, it would only be a retrograde step.
Guru should be one, who should be able to initiate by entering into the disciple's energy field. A perfect Guru will place a mantra in disciple's navel chakra (not physically) or in ajna chakra and it is up to the disciple to take this mantra forward. Guru will plant the seed of spirituality into the energy body of the aspirant and it is up to the aspirant to make the seed sprout. Immediately after this initiation, you will notice immense change in your mind set and energy level.
Mere verbal initiation will not yield any significant results. When you advance in spiritual path, which is significantly different from ritual path, mantra should cease on its own. This will happen only if you concentrate on your breath. Please read this article to align your breath with Saubhāgya Pañcadaśī

Thank you Sir. So, What I understand from your post is, a person initiated with Saubhāgya Pañcadaśī must forward with Mahā ṣoḍaśī vidya mantra. This fact helped me a lot to subside my confusions and I feel, these confusion will be there for many too. I also thank for guiding me over the syncing up breathing with the mantra while practicing it and I will start doing it right from tomorrow.
So, Please tell me if can I start practicing Mahā ṣoḍaśī or do I need to get initiated from a Guru physically with all rituals. Sorry for troubling you Sir, and I am so glad for you being kind and helping people like me to advance in their spiritual practices.
And, I think write to you, you meant as writing to this blog as post not to your email address right? just asked as I do not know the email address of yours to specifically right to you Sir. Hope I am not spamming others with my all my questions here on this blog, if so please excuse me sir.

There are two options for you to proceed further. Either you can approach your present guru to initiate into Mahā ṣoḍaśī. If this is not possible, you can get yourself initiated. The full version of Mahā ṣoḍaśī japa is there in this site.

Thank you so much for the reply Sir. My Guru who initiated me to Mahā Gaṇapati and Saubhāgya Pañcadaśī left his mortal body 2 years back. He was from Kanchipuram, but stayed in Madras. Now, as you guided my thoughts, I will listen to the self intuition and when ever I get a signal(Jagad guru Sri Medha Dakṣiṇāmūrti), I will start the practice of Mahā ṣoḍaśī japa otherwise I also believe that, Mother will create a situation to meet a Guru, physically to get initiated me on Mahā ṣoḍaśī mantra. As Of now I am not able to realise Mother's intension, as even the words of yours is a guru vakya, which she might have brought me here. So, all I need now, is to first realise the Mother's intention, which I think can be felt by listening to inner self upon meditation.Thank you so much Sir Again!

Take your time to understand Mahā ṣoḍaśī mantra first. Recite the curse removal mantra daily, before you begin recitation of the main mantra. Once you memorize the mantra, recite mentally with concentration. In about fifteen days time, you should be able to feel the first symptoms of Bliss. From that point onwards, you will be guided by Her. It is not the count that matters. It is only the concentration that matters. Parāśakti will be with you and will certainly shower Her Grace on you.

I am not too sure of the benefits. But it is said that both convey material prosperity. Vāñcā means desire and kalpalatā means a Divine creeper that fulfills all desires. The benefits of these mantras have to be looked into from this angle. Beyond this, I am not aware of other benefits. If you need more details, you can think os posting this in the discussion forum at the top of this site.

Various combinations of Vāñchā Kalpalatā Śrīvidyā Gaṇapati mantras exist, as combinations of mantras of other deities with those of Lord Gaṇeśa. You may refer to the books by Shri S.V. In my humble opinion, this mantra may NOT yield results unless one is in the Śrīvidyā path. The tradition of Śrīvidyā mandates a guru and simply does not permit self-initiation, although many seem to go ahead in this manner due to lack of proper gurus. You may consider getting initiated from any guru of your choice and move ahead in life with the blessings of the Divine Mother. The writing japa, also called Likhita japa is not described in the tantras but is commonly practiced by many. You may do this if it is to your liking, but getting the initiation is the start of your spiritual journey. It is very important for you to remember that the Gāyatrī mantra on its own can work wonders and fulfill every single desire of yours. Mantra japa by itself won't yield results, you must follow up with the associated stotras and the Āvaraṇa pūja rituals. Most of this information can be found in the associated tantra books, but permission to proceed further comes from the guru.
