स्फ्रेँ

The bhūta bīja (seed) mantra sphrem̐ represents all the natural elements such as air, water, fire, earth and ether. It consists of the letter ‘sa’, which is the pṛthvi tattva Śiva, meaning the omniscience of Lord Śiva and His presence in all matter. The letter ‘pha’ represents sphuraṇa meaning pulsation or vibration, which is the duality of matter as both waveforms and mass. The letter ‘ra’ is Ananta tejomayi or the all illuminating Brahman as the Divine Mother Mahākālī. The letter ‘e’ is the Divine Mother Vāṇi, who indicates speech and knowledge. The letter ‘m̐’ is nāda-bindu that dispels sorrow. Together, the signification is that the Divine Mother exists in all forms of matter, waveforms, sound frequencies and is the source of illumination of both the material and spiritual existence. All sorrow is dispelled by any of the specified means indicated by this bīja.

Seven invocations covering the cakras and the septads of the Kūrca, Devī, Kāma, Sarasvatī & Praṇava bījas together with the Divine Mother Mahāviparīta Pratyaṅgirā wrapped once again with the same combination of bījas along with a double invocation of the Astra bījas and a submission through the Vahni-sundarī bīja to the Divine Mother Mahāviparīta Pratyaṅgirā to invoke Her grace once again for the protection of all our loved ones to eliminate all the machinations of our enemies performed by means of black magic, experimental prayogas, talismans, chants, fire rituals, dangerous medicinal and poisonous herbs and pastes of plants and their produce, as well as powders of minerals and every other means prescribed in every literature for inducing harmful effects. May She reverse all these and send them towards the enemies and may the cause and effects desired by the enemies be directed towards them in multitude leading to their complete elimination. May the enemies in their entirety perish by getting slaughtered and may the Divine Mother usher in auspiciousness and abundance in all our lives. May the septads be reinvigorated by the seven invocations of the Kūrca, Devī, Kāma, Sarasvatī, Praṇava bījas, followed by two utterances of the Astra and a single invocation of the Vahni sundarī bījas. Another seven invocations of the Kūrca, Devī, Kāma, Sarasvatī, Praṇava bījas to propitiate the Divine Mother Mahāviparīta Pratyaṅgirā to invoke Her complete grace for protecting us and our loved ones, as well as all our cherished possessions. May She protect us from repeated black magic (abhicāra) or similar acts performed or planned or instigated by our enemies or their agents or even curses obtained from saints or any and all means to instigate and spread misinformation or malice towards us to cause harm in any manner, be overturned by the grace of the Divine Mother and reversed to inflict the same upon our enemies and instigators. May the Divine Mother comprehensively destroy all inimical forces, debilitating, annihilating and burying them for good. May She protect us from all types of actions and experimental procedures such as chants, invocations, talismans etc. that could have been deployed against us in the past, or deployed currently or planned for future. May She destroy all such planning and efforts of our enemies and nip them in the bud before they can sprout! May She destroy all procedures (kṛtyās) & actions (kriyās) performed, contemplated or in progress against us and annihilate them completely. May She deploy the horrific yoginī Dākinī to inflict a crushing defeat, terrify, tremble and finally annihilate all machinations of our enemies, real and perceived. May the immense destruction causing Divine Mother slaughter those inflicting great harm to the law-abiding citizens and reestablish faith in the Divinity, dharma and spirituality in general! May the Divine Mother issue Her orders to all the favored deities (iṣṭa-devānām) of our enemies and wrong-doers, to inflict immense harm, discomfort and pain to them and debilitate them. May these deities cause death, mental illnesses, deep worries and destroy the pride and ego of the enemies. May the deities also induce hunger, thirst, unrest, impair movement, make the enemies bed-ridden and ultimately lead to their painful demise leaving them penniless and completely destroyed financially, mentally, spiritually and ridden with extreme bad karma for their future births!

The vowel Mātṛkā bījas am̐, ām̐, im̐, īm̐, um̐, ūm̐, ṛm̐, ṝm̐, ḷm̐, ḹm̐, em̐, aim̐, om̐, aum̐, am̐ and aḥ grant us the secrets of the entire Creation and help us evolve spiritually, finally granting self-realization and liberation.

The consonant Mātṛkā bījas kam̐, kham̐, gam̐, gham̐, ṅam̐, cam̐, cham̐, jam̐, jham̐, ñam̐, ṭam̐ and ṭham̐ grant us the discerning knowledge to free us from all karmas, detachment from all triads, relieve us of all evil thoughts and influences, balance our material and spiritual aspirations and grant us spiritual emancipation and unification with the Supreme Self.

    The consonant Mātṛkā bījas bam̐, bham̐, mam̐, yam̐, ram̐ and lam̐ remove all bondage, attachments, free us from the cosmic illusion (māyā), grant us the True knowledge of the singular reality, usher in auspiciousness and bind us to the Divine at all times.

The consonant Mātṛkā bījas vam̐, śam̐, ṣam̐ and sam̐ fulfill our wishes, provide comforts, make us humble, grant success in all undertakings and bind us to the Divine at all times.

The consonant Mātṛkā bījas ham̐ and kṣam̐ vanquish all our karmas and bind us to the Divine at all times.

The reversal of all the above is intended for our enemies by the reverse chanting of the Mātṛkā bīja clusters. This is followed by another invocation of the septads and their energization through the Kūrca, Devī, Kāma, Sarasvatī, Praṇava bījas. May the Divine Mother protect our family, loved ones, our cherished possessions and may She eliminate all our enemies where they stand and destroy all their possessions, influence, workings etc. and protect us from all their machinations and reverse their effects to crush the enemies. May She destroy the powers and grace obtained by the enemies through their efforts by means of invoking mantras, consecrating yantras and performing tantric rituals etc. and confine them to ashes and bury them in the graveyards. May all the rites performed by the enemies in the cremation or burial grounds, ashes immersion, mantra puraścaraṇa rituals such as homam, abhiṣeka etc. be nullified by Her grace.
