Guruji, Kindly guide me. I have few queries related this Sadhana. 1) I heard that Matangi / Sumukhi devi prefer polluted places for worship, nd they accept partial eaten foods as offering. Is it true ? Can I worship in Pooja room or do I need to find polluted place for doing Sumukhi Devi Sadhana ? 2) Specific Dress(Colour) , direction for doing this Sadhana ? 3) Which time is best for doing Sumukhi Devi Sadhana (Morning / Afternoon / Evening / Night) 4) What are the materials I need to offer in fire ritual / homa.. Kindly reply and Guide me , Guruji Thankyou

Unless you have been specifically guided to take up this sādhana, I would not suggest venturing further. The guru who may have guided you can offer more suggestions. You may also lookup Mantra Mahodadhi for more guidance related to this mantra. Answering your questions regardless - 1) The pollution is in our thoughts and deeds and we accept Her guidance and offer our reverence even without fully conditioning our minds. As a symbolic gesture, you may offer half eaten food as an offering, keeping the relevance in mind. 2) Red should be best. 3) Evening times are best. 4) Clarified butter (ghee), red flowers (Kusuma).

English Translation - First take the mantra from the Guru tradition from the left path, then give the leftover and half-eaten food as a sacrificial offering to the Goddess and without any doubt chanting the mantra will provide results. The viniyoga and nyāsā can be done initially, following which, only Meditation and mantra are to be chanted through the rituals of Pañcamakara. This mantra is very rare and so are the disciples of this mantra in our country. Therefore, without becoming foolish, first seek your Guru. Find out from the guru, his Guru lineage and tradition/kula and the associated Āmnāyas etc., listen to their pronunciation of Sanskrit and chanting of mantras etc. If the right Guru is not found, then leave the guru and continue to search for the right Guru. Continue to offer prayers to the Goddess for guidance. If you are on the right path and your efforts are earnest and have been a seeker in your previous birth, then you will get shelter of the right guru and right deity. Google or TV guru and chanting or initiation of such mantras will do nothing good but only hell will be awaiting you - Yours Truly, Shyamanand.

Thank you for your guidance and suggestions sir. A point to note, is that it is generally NOT suggested to give up on nyāsā-s irrespective of whether we follow the Vāmācāra or Kaulācāra. It is relevant for all Āmnāyas and Ācārās.
